Realistically, when do we plan on starting our season? FWIW I'm in a 20-ish team DMB league at work that does a 20 round re-draft every year. Some people are super slow and it can take 3 months to complete the draft. My sense of this league's draft is that it's going relatively quickly, but the number of teams and picks is much higher. In my mind I'm hoping we'll get through it in 3 months or less. |

Realistically, when do we plan on starting our season? Honestly, we just have to play it by ear. I think we're moving at a good pace, and I hope we can even improve upon it. Once we get in the later rounds (past the 30th), there are also other options we can consider like creating time slots in accordance with the draft order to allow every team to select one player per day. Regardless of how long it takes, we can simulate multiple weeks in one real-life week to catch up on missed time. There's always a lag somewhere in the offseason anyway because of how long it takes for the annual ZiPS projection disk to be released (usually around mid-to-late April like this year). |

Summer is almost here, we will have vacations coming and weekend trips to the lake.
Maybe that is just my summer ahead. I know I'll send a list if I'm not going to be able to keep track of things for multiple days in a row.

Just so I'm on the same page. If a player is on the MLB IL, they cannot play in our season, even if they have stats.

Hopefully we can make some good progress this weekend! Some people have even sent lists (while they're monitoring the activity), but you don't even need to send them to me. You can ask someone not even close to you in the draft order if they can post your pick for you too. Anything we can do to keep it moving would be much appreciated and help us finish faster.

It's interesting how you guys are strategizing. Some teams have no pitching and all hitting and vice versa. So, let me understand this better. All ML players can't be used until they actually play or my wrong. And all current players on the IL can't play, neither?

Anyone with a ZIPS projection can be used. IL players will be out in the sim for weeks they are out in real life.
