With some of the confusion about which players that teams used a [ML] wildcard on, do we want to allow teams to make any changes to [ML] wildcards until a designated time--for example, end of the 26th Round?

I think it is alright based on case by case basis like forgetting to put a [ML] on when posting. I don't think we can have people just switching up because they are having buyer's remorse and a better prospect is now sitting there. I would also say it should be done sooner than the 26th round. An email can be sent to teams with a deadline to go over their [ML] picks and if there was a guy who was supposed to be [ML] that is not showing they can post here to change it.

If you still have [ML] wildcards that you're using, please specify what number out of 3 you're using when you post.

I won't lie, I'm really confused with most of these picks. If Yonny Chirinos had Tommy John in August of 20, why would anyone pick him knowing he can't be used until 2022 the latest. What am i missing?

What am i missing? Possibly banking on a decent projection in 22. At a million bucks a decent enough arm who can have a solid starter projection can be pretty valuable. We also are approaching almost 600 picks taken so there is going to be a lot of different value in the eye of the beholder stuff here.

Astros you really missed a prime opportunity to say you drafted Dick Mountain. Drafted from my phone while I was distracted at work this morning. Had I been on my laptop I would have remembered his nickname. What could have been.

St. Louis clarified he intended to use a [ML] wildcard on Miguel Amaya. I really don't like teams changing their designation after the fact. I want to give people the benefit of doubt, but it's impossible to know if someone made a genuine mistake or if someone is changing their mind in light of other GM's strategies. We had cracked open that door, but I want to slam it shut. When I send out an updated database, I will let everyone know they need to notify me if they made a [ML] wildcard mistake immediately--otherwise, those will be set in stone.

as for the slow draft pace, maybe we need a new vote on time between picks given the rising level of frustration with the pace of the draft ??

I think there could be some confusion on some of the [ML] structures that we have seen. I think setting some ground rules on it for the 21 slots we have left would be important. I was waiting for you to come back and say Gorman as a [ML] after the weekend he has had. No take backs.

Gorman has hit 5 HR this weekend since you drafted him as a [.5/1/A1/A2/A3]. The joke was you would want to switch him to [ML]
