If we draft a ML player and still have a ML spot left can we sign him to a slot contract or does it have to be a ML contract? Like Houston said, yes. It's your decision. For example, I chose to give Ha-Seong Kim the slot contract rather than use a [ML] wildcard because he was already in the majors and I could save that spot for someone further away. |

So unless I missed something,the max you could keep one player is 4 years, correct?

If a GM wants to be skipped, I propose that they be able to announce that they want to defer their pick in the draft thread so that we don't need to wait the 4 hours, and they can pick on their own schedule without sending a list.

People certainly have that option, but I don't think that's the issue. Hopefully these next few picks should move soon. I already have Toronto's pick and should have Detroit's in a few minutes. |
