Very true. Someone like Tanaka would not be eligible since he signed overseas. Someone like Yasiel Puig would also not be eligible because he's not signed and playing with a MLB franchise. Also when tragedies like Oscar Taveras and Jose Fernandez happen those players are no longer able to be used. At least it's not like those awful tragedies could strike the same simulation team, right? Also, you can't trade someone after they're dead and before some people know (like say, Cory Lidle's plane crash).

There isn't a separate draft for pitching?

That was a great move moving a dead man for something in return.

If anyone’s interested ..I setup up a B1G league draft in my DMB file . I think it makes it easier to follow and decide on upcoming choices . I’d attach it...but don’t know how . Hit me up at william.stephen@att.net if interested ...

Great pick in Nick SolAK.I hated when we traded him to Tampa ( I think it was Tampa). One quick question, and I'm criticizing anyone and maybe I'm missing something, but with the Dustin May pick he's out for probably the next 2 seasons and can't be used, my correct?

Yes, Dustin May will be out from when he got injured this year till the end of the season unless he make a miraculous recovery. Then he would be out until he is called off the 60 day IL next year.

The reason I didn't use the draft tool was because some teams were drafting players already without a projection and I didn't know if it would allow a partial draft or impact the ability to start the season with the draft unfinished.

I got another question. With ML players. Unlike players on the DL,can they be used even if they're in the minors still?

Yes. For example Wander Franco is healthy and playing for the Durham Bulls and has a projection. I can use him in my squad.

Twins is single-handedly going to add a week to this draft I think the best part is yours and Mets picks will go in like 5 total minutes and we will be back to waiting for his pick.

Sent a couple messages. Totally understand that we each have our own lives and responsibilities too. I'm hoping we'll be able to flip and proceed to the 7th Round tonight.

I told my wife and kids goodbye as I marched away to join that sim league baseball life. Can't have anything holding me back and clouding my judgment when it comes to serious fake baseball.

With the 7th pick in the 7th Round, the Baltimore Orioles select Yermin Mercedes [ML] Beast!!! Lol. Just don't play him at C, his passed ball rating in DMB is way too high.

Astudillo going to be throwing 45 mph softballs in 2023 when this draft finishes.
Seemed like we were cooking at like a round a day before hitting this speed bump.

Question, a player i'm interested in has 136 career ABs, 115 coming before the start of the season. Is he eligible to be drafted at the ML pay scale?

Let me look him up and see if I want him before answering.
But I asked before and since we are drafting before the 2021 season those stats do not count towards ML. So if it is 115 without 2021 he would be eligible.

If you are drafting a player with a [ML] wildcard, please indicate that you are doing so and what number out of 3 it is for you.

I think we need a massive trade. Is that allowed?

It's really tough when it's delayed like this on the weekend--when more people are available and we can get more done. At some point, we may want to offer time slots based on time of day to do a round or two a day. I don't think we're near that point yet, but maybe somewhere around the 30th Round. Depending on how people would feel about that.
