Actually expected a better projection for Grayson Rodriguez this year. Would say I feel bad for the Rockies but they have a pretty optimistic line for Adley so it evens out.

I'll be looking through the ZiPS projections released so far to try to see any players (not on a B1G team) that might be worthwhile adding for bidding in our Free Agency this offseason.

I have Alzolay, who isn't terrible. Are we using usage or unlimited like this past season? This wasn't a typical season, which is why i ask

We don't use usage.
On Alzolay I would say 1.5 HR/9 might be a problem as a RH pitcher in Yankee Stadium.

I've been very surprised at how generous some of the projections have been for rookies/minor leaguers. It's a new day for ZiPS.

Last rookie projection I remember that have been as good as these groups was the AJ Reed 119 OPS+.
This year there have been a few above 117.

ZiPS used to be much more cautious--even after breakout seasons. Sustained success at the major league level isn't a prerequisite anymore. This new shift for younger guys has definitely made me regret some moves.

I'm fairly happy with the usable SP projection for Balazovic I wasn't expecting it. Rogers relief status is pretty impressive! And freaking Jimmy Kerrigan is Roberto Clemente with the glove in RF but Anthony Alford with the bat! |

Going to assume most of that is defense. I'm gonna guess a OPS+ of 105 and defensive runs +10 for Bader for his zips 2022. |
