I have a season question. It may have been asked but since these boards are, let's be honest, a terrible idea for important info because most people don't log in all the time, I'll ask. What happens if this lockout pushes into June or July? Do we just play with the team we have and ignore "real life" injuries until they actually play or not play at all?

I think we would have to arrive at that decision collectively. In a prior league when COVID shortened the season, we decided to keep the 162-game schedule and utilized the DMB random system for new injuries--with the players who were out for the year in real life remaining out in the simulation. Theoretically that would impact teams evenly and fairly. There's not an ideal way to do it because I think taking real life injuries into consideration is part of the equation with building your team. Personally, I think it's likely there's a new MLB deal struck before the schedule is threatened, but we'll see and take it how it goes. Regardless, the ZiPS projections will be released by Diamond Mind around mid-April.

In my opinion, our season should begin in concert with that of MLB.
