Let's leave the talk to this forum so the Draft Selections can be focused just on the posts of picks.
Although we've opened the door for a soft start, we'll officially begin the clock tomorrow. Since we're guaranteed to go at a pace of 5 picks per day, I think we should stick to that schedule--not moving up when skips are picked. We're fine if we go quicker, but I think it will be too confusing for some if we're moving up when people are skipped. This would enable me to go through every slot and post the exact day/time that team has to get their pick in before being skipped. Thoughts?

I'll also send a summary email to everyone to clarify the roster pool for this Amateur Draft. Any international prospect would need to have officially signed by the end of 2021 in order to be eligible. The main player base this year would be prospects drafted and signed (so no Kumar Rocker because he didn't sign with the Mets) from the 2021 Amateur Draft. What is the best way to find out if a player is already on a roster?

You can do a Ctrl+F search in the B1G Salaries Sheet for the player's name (all sheets) to see if they are already on a roster. I'll also be updating the draftees for each team there as well.
We didn't institute a cutoff for trading draft picks, but should we post a poll to freeze the order? If people prefer that, teams could still trade draft picks but they would have to select the player first and then trade them. Thoughts?

I'll include these instructions in the email I'll send about the Amateur Draft, but you can Ctrl + F search in the B1G Salaries Sheet and then click the 3 vertical dots. In the Search section, select All Sheets. Make sure you spell whatever you enter in the Find field correctly. You search for part of a name, but if you're trying to find their full name, you'll need to enter "Last Name, First Name" without the quotations because that's how players are entered in the Excel--searching "First Name Last Name would not show entries.
In addition to updating the players who are selected in the 2022 Draftees section, I'll also create a new tab to track the draftees.

I might still be open to moving pick #22. I would be ok with trading back as I have a list of guys who could slip into the 2nd round

Tough for the Dodgers to miss their pick there. They just lost out on a lot of high-end talent and it could get worse the longer their delay goes. I've heard from him by email recently too. We will have at least one GM opening as I haven't heard from Cincinnati in a while--however, I think we already have a replacement for the Reds.

I have a strong draft ADP from another league from last summer for Amateur players, same player pool and things are shaking out much different this time around.

I've heard from almost everyone. Just confirmed Cincinnati and San Diego are out, but I don't think there will be more at this time. Atlanta has someone for Cincinnati and I've heard from others that they know people who are interested so we even have a waitlist.

Giants, can you pause on reposting the list in the thread? Commish goes through and updates it when he can. It's easier on my eyes just to see the teams post the picks.

Minnesota will also become vacant. We already have someone lined up for Cincinnati, and I think that will also be the case for the Twins and Reds soon too. Not expecting any other vacancies right now, just trying to get the Dodgers, Blue Jays, and Red Sox more active on the forum rather than just checking in by email.
