A wild Domingo Acevedo sighting and a first battery of the game error being a huge impact in the AL Wildcard.
Simulation Framber Valdez pitched about as well as the real life version did in the World Seried for the poor Nats.
Cubs vs Mets should be fun to see what happens.

Baltimore escaping with the Wild Card win was a shock since they had to go with Acevedo on 3 days rest--Kikuchi pitched Game 163, Lynn would have been on 1 days rest, and Darvish would have been on 2 days rest. I can just feel a fun first round exit coming for the Mets in the NLDS since it's only a 5-game series, but at least they had to burn Nola in the Wild Card to advance. |
