Since there can be some questionable injury situations at the end of the season, should we put any individual players up for league vote to determine their eligibility? I don't know if we have any of these situations (such as a player who would reasonably be active if their MLB team was in the playoffs) this year, but this would be a potential way to handle that fairly. You can post any questionable players in this thread.

Out of the teams in contention, does anyone have suggestions of players who should be put up for vote? I think all of my guys (in particular Acuna, Glasnow, and Kershaw) are no-doubters.

I don't think I have anyone. Muncy is out and Loaisiga should be back.

Also, Josh Taylor should be free to play in the playoffs...
:" Taylor (back) was activated off the injured list Tuesday and added to Boston's wild-card roster, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports. (10/5/2021)"

If the player is out for a season-ending injury, that should settle it. They would not be eligible, even for a vote.
Nats would like Austin Nola and Ryan Tepera up for vote.

Blake Snell would by most accounts be activated is team was in playoffs...he should be considered for activation for Cardinals. Rest are pretty cut and dry, they are either activated or they are out for season ending injury...ie, Brogdon, Martinez, couple of others.

Sorry for the delay, my body decided to be a traitor again and I got sick yesterday. I'll have these votes posted soon tonight.

If the Orioles ever had anything to play for Ramon Urias would have been back.
Urias landed on the 10-day IL with a right adductor strain Wednesday, and he was eligible to return Oct. 2. However, the Orioles won't attempt to rush him back into action and will instead shut him down for the remainder of the year.
And Deivi Garcia was activated on October 2nd and should be active Garcia (undisclosed) was reinstated from the 7-day minor-league injured list Saturday, Conor Foley of The Scranton Times-Tribune reports.
Garcia spent a week and a half on the injured list for an unspecified reason, but he'll rejoin Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre for the final few games of the regular season. It's not yet clear whether the right-hander will pitch again to close out the year, but he's in line for a normal offseason.

Sorry for the delay, my body decided to be a traitor again and I got sick yesterday. I'll have these votes posted soon tonight. Alright, let's try this again. I thought I was good, but I was out of commission the past few days. Things should only get pushed back slightly, but I'll post these injuries up for vote now. One bit of clarification: if a player was active in real-life (like Odorizzi and Taylor), then they'll be active in the simulation.

Out of the players listed in this thread, Jonathan Loaisiga, Trevor Rogers, Jake Odorizzi, Josh Taylor, Ryan Tepera, and Deivi Garcia were all activated in time for the playoffs. The questionable/requested injuries up for league vote are Austin Nola, Blake Snell, Ramon Urias, and Shogo Akiyama.

With the way the votes are right now, it looks like Snell, Urias, and Akiyama will be active and Austin Nola will remain inactive.

Might be late on this but I’d throw Mike Minor for the Twins in to the mix. Pablo Lopez was activated for the last game in MLB so he should be good.

It looks like Mike Minor will be inactive for the playoffs. This is also the last call for any requests to vote on questionable injuries for players on non-Wild Card teams. I didn't look more into Willson Contreras's hip until now so I apologize for not posting him sooner. I'll abstain from that vote and go with what everyone decides.

Baltimore didn't mention Yu Darvish, but that's also one that looks a little iffy as well. This is far from an exact science with questionable injuries at the very end of the season, and we're just trying to be as fair as possible by putting it up for everyone to decide.

Yu Darvish will be active for the Wild Card game and beyond. Willson Contreras will be inactive.
