I created an injury tool on Google Sheets to help teams see when their players are injured and if there are any overlapping injuries. If you use the tool, please let me know if you spot any bugs. (I see one below: Chris Sale was injured on Apr 1-4, but isn't marked here). Usage:
Click the drop down arrow next to your team name and select your team. Your player is (unofficially) ineligible to play on the days in red. Things to note:
- Currently, if a player is injured twice, their name will appear twice on two separate lines
- Anyone anywhere on the internet with the link can edit the sheet. However, everything is locked except for the team name on the Team Injuries sheet.
- The data may not always be up-to-date

Idk why I wrote formulas to do this when a simple filter would have done just fine

This is now updated through this morning. I corrected a bug affecting players who started the season on the IL.

So basically we can't use a player the week/month he's hurt, correct?

So basically we can't use a player the week/month he's hurt, correct? Correct, my understanding is that players who are on the IL a Sunday night would be ineligible for a minimum of one week. E. Player EligibilityOfficial transactions from MLB.com are used for to determine weekly player eligibility. A player on a rehab assignment would not be eligible—we would go be the official transactions. When a player is placed on the Disabled List during the MLB season, they are also ineligible during that time in the simulation. Real-life injury status as of the end of the week on Sunday night will be used to determine player eligibility for that coming week’s simulation. When a player is not active with an MLB franchise (or their minor league affiliate), they are not eligible to be active in the simulation. A player who is unsigned wouldn't be eligible in the simulation until they are active playing with an MLB franchise. A player who retires or signs overseas will have their contract voided.
