Lose 3 of 4 to the Mariners to give up the AL best record to the Twins and their 66+ run differential. Sigh.
At least there are still a bunch of fun wild card races and finishes.

Lose 3 of 4 to the Mariners to give up the AL best record to the Twins and their 66+ run differential. Sigh. At least there are still a bunch of fun wild card races and finishes. I enjoy the change to have two Wild Card spots and essentially have a play-in game. It seems to set things up for an exciting end of the season. But I think MLB should have the team with the best record face the team with the worst record (regardless of whether they're the Wild Card or not) or just let the team with the best record pick whoever they want to play. |
