Welcome to the league! Available B1G franchises will continue to be updated on the league website. There are some people who are in but they just haven't registered on the forum yet. Looking forward to the B1G Player Draft and an active inaugural season!

If you have friends who would be interested or play in other simulation leagues, feel free to share this opportunity around. We've already filled about 1/3 of the league over a few days. The 2021 ZiPS projection disk will come out a little later this month (maybe even next week), which should also help drive attention. This will be a fun, unique experience mirroring the current MLB structure and rules!

We're already working our way up to half of the team vacancies filled! If you've newly registered, please feel free to introduce yourselves. We'll continue to spread the word around (if you play in a league with someone who might be interested, go ahead and invite them), and I believe we'll be able to fill all teams hopefully by the end of this month.

While I did jokingly ask Dan Szymborski if he would consider joining, the Baltimore Orioles have now coincidentally been filled. We're close to working our way up to the league being 2/3rds full already. Share the opportunity with friends or fellow fans, and get your preparation in order for the B1G Player Draft!

How many previous LWNN GMs? Seems like the rules are similar 😂

I've only recently reached out to those I've previously played against in other leagues like LWNN and PJBA. So far, we have a lot of people with different backgrounds from different leagues. Although the structure may be familiar, there are some significant tweaks and I welcome everyone's feedback regarding any changes. I want this to be something that's built collectively and shaped by a good active community. I think there's already been a decent amount of interest in getting in on the ground floor and starting from scratch. The timing is also pretty good to hit the reset button coming off a very odd, irregular MLB 60-game season.

I controlled the Angels and Yankees for the longest periods. I've had to wear many hats, but never controlled the Mets before. I'm sure I'll now go a hearty 75-87 in CitiField. I have to say, Oakland is definitely one of the best GMs I've ever played against in a sim league. Even long after he left, his team was dominant and virtually impossible to screw up. I think this reset will be exciting and interesting to see how everyone will draft.

Arizona and Tampa Bay should be registering on the forum, which will indeed leave just 6 vacancies: Cincinnati Reds, Colorado Rockies, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, Texas Rangers, Washington Nationals. Now that the 2021 ZiPS projection disk has been released, we should hopefully be able to fill these remaining franchises soon. Once we do that and cement the rules, then we can start with the draft. Any help in spreading awareness of this opportunity would be appreciated!

Everyone still needs to sign up here on the forum, but I believe we've now filled the Cincinnati Reds, Texas Rangers, and Washington Nationals which should just leave the Colorado Rockies, Philadelphia Phillies, and Pittsburgh Pirates as the remaining vacancies.

After everyone who has expressed interest registers on the forum, we should have all 30 franchises filled! Once I know for sure, I'll contact everyone to try to confirm commitment one last time and drive everyone to the forum. The majority of league activity will need to take place on here, but I expect to send prompts as much as I can to remind people. After we fine-tune the rules/structure and have a league vote to agree on the system, then we'll begin with roster construction.
