So I've realized greatness right in my backyard.... or 30 minutes away. Back in early 2021, the Yankees cut ties with the Trenton Thunder after 18 years. Trenton is about an hour and 15 minutes from my house. However, they signed on with the Somerset Patriots, which is 25 minutes from me. Somerset has been Independent Ball the past 20 years with Sparky Lyle the manager some of those years. Joining B1G has been a blessing because I didn't realize how deep some of these systems are. I went last night against Akon ( Cleveland) where both Gio Urshela and Corey Kluber played their last rehab games. Kluber got rocked in the first giving up 4 hits in a row including George Valera and Bryan Rocchio, both playing game number 1 in AA. Couldn't happen to a better guy. Kluber was such a dick head. About 10 or 11 kids started yelling for him as he was walking out to the bullpen to warm up. Not even a wave, wink, nod, etc. I know double A is beneath him but dam. Show a little gratitude. Gio Urshela wasn't much better. Just watching him play third base next to Oswald Peraza is completely different then Gleybor Torres but jesus...

You should head to Somerset and go watch Randy Vasquez throw some ridiculous breaking balls.

I'm actually going on 9/11 vs Hartford. It's really a great place to watch a game. Thinking about getting a partial plan for 2022. I'm sure Volpe and Dominguez will probably play most of the season
