3rd Round

A can use one of their [ML] wildcards to forgo the salary/contract in a particular round if they choose to select a player that has not gained real-life rookie eligibility in MLB--as of the end of 2020, the player would have to have fewer than 130 MLB ABs or 50 MLB IP in their career.

In the 3rd Round, a team will have up to 24 hours to make their selection when their pick comes up before they are then skipped. A skipped team can post their make-up selection at any time after being skipped, but it will be at the same slot value. The slot value for the 3rd Round is $10 million. When a team selects their player, they will also declare the number of years they are signing the player. For the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Rounds, a team can sign their selected player for up to 4 years at the slot value.
