Thank you to the Boston Red Sox for being able to NetPlay and congratulations on a great season! The World Series was an incredible series. Boston and New York both won at home heading into Game 7, which featured a pair of rain delays. Acuna eventually did Acuna things to keep the Mets in the series, but it's always the dumbest guys who play hero. Sean Bouchard had the deciding blow in the 5 inning with a 3-run HR off Luzardo. In 12 ABs (16 PAs), Bouchard went 3 for 12 and those 3 hits were a double and 2 HRs. Abraham Toro also had a .269/.345/.577 line in 26 ABs with a triple and 2 HRs.

Entertaining series for sure. I will forever hate those 2 for the stress they caused me. I expected Acuna to do what he does, but not those 2.

I'm just glad all those trades weren't for nothing since even those fringe upgrades made a difference. I wish I could say there was joy, but it was mostly relief that I didn't fuck it up. NetPlay played games with my heart and it felt like it all over several times, but at least this year's rollercoaster ride is over. I'm going to start the transition of the Salaries Sheet into 2024 and we'll move into the offseason with arbitration figures released soon.
