As we finish our postseason, I'll begin the process of transition our Excel to 2024. The update to arbitration-eligible players should be relatively quick given the formula we've used, and then we'll set the deadline for releasing those players without financial penalty. If you have arbitration-eligible players you don't plan to keep, it is appreciated if you go ahead and release them before I go through and update those figures. Nelson Cruz has retired. Yonathan Perlaza will also be removed since he has signed with a KBO team. If there are any other players who have retired or signed overseas, post them in this thread so the Excel can reflect those changes.

I'm working my way through transitioning the B1G Salaries Sheet to 2024. The next steps will be adding the new arbitration figures for those eligible players and finding out which [ML] players have reached the threshold for starting the major league pay scale. If you already know what players have hit the career MLB marks for IP and ABs, you can post them here in this thread.

The B1G Salaries Sheet has been updated with the 2024 salaries for the arbitration-eligible players. I've temporarily added sheets that show the exported WAR for batters and pitchers, which were used in the formula the league voted on to determine salaries. I really tried to double-check and triple-check, but please let me know if you see any error. Everything is starting to take shape after also adding the Fan Base Factors (Record Rewards as well as bonuses for Wild Card/Division, League, and World Champion). However, I still need to go through each team's [ML] players to review who starts the [.5/1/A1/A2/A3].
Any players on the right side of your team's Excel can be released without any financial penalty. When do we want to set the deadline for those salaries becoming official and moving them back over to the left side?

Adam Wainwright retired and has been removed from Boston. There were a slew of guys signing internationally, but only Albert Abreu was on a B1G roster so he's been removed from San Diego.

Any way to appeal the Marsh arb figure of 5M it doesn’t go with his 98 projection at all.

Also I was thinking end of January for a date. Let Zips get possibly fully released.

Any way to appeal the Marsh arb figure of 5M it doesn’t go with his 98 projection at all. Sorry, there's no appeal process. The arbitration figures are determined based on the formula that takes into account their WAR in the last major league season. It's just one of those things where his projection doesn't necessarily match his most recent real-life production.

Apologize for the delays, I've been having computer issues along with availability over the holidays, but the B1G Salaries Sheet has been updated with all of the changing salaries. Andre Jackson, Denyi Reyes, and Nivaldo Rodriguez have been removed from their B1G teams since they've signed overseas.

Does everyone agree with the end of the month the deadline for releasing the arbitration-eligible and changing salaries players without financial penalty? All of the ZiPS should be out by the end of next week. We could also target the beginning of February to start the Amateur Draft and Free Agency at the same time.

Collin McHugh retired so he will be removed from the B1G Angels. If I've missed any other retirements (of players who are on B1G teams), let me know by posting them here. Players who signed with an international team also fall in this category.
