Some pretty amazing performances this year. In particular, the NL East had 2 players with incredibly impressive power/speed numbers. Fernando Tatis Jr. led everyone with 61 HRs and then also had 38 SBs. Ronald Acuna Jr. led everyone with 87 SBs and then also had 44 HRs. Although he didn't have eye-popping power/speed numbers, Yordan Alvarez probably had the best overall offensive season leading everyone with 9.2 runs created per 27 outs and a .322/.410/.633 line (best AVG as well as in the top 3 for OBP and SLG).

Taking a look at pitching performances, Giovanny Gallegos had such a season-killing effect on the White Sox. Gallegos led everyone with 12 blown saves and Chicago lost 7 of those 12 games. The White Sox lost the 3rd Wild Card to Detroit by 4 games. Oddly enough, Chicago also had 3 SP with 40+ games started--Roansy Contreras led everyone with 41 while Reid Detmers and Gordon Graceffo had 40 each. We didn't have any 20-game winners, but Alek Manoah went 19-5 for the Red Sox. Andrew Heaney (17-4) led everyone with a 2.15 ERA and 0.91 WHIP while tying Gerrit Cole with 249 Ks. Heaney held batters to a .187/.245/.314 line, which were the best marks for opposing OBP and SLG while Miami's Ricky Tiedemann was the only one with a better AVG at .177.

It's hard to discern fielding sometimes in the simulation, but William Contreras had a horrendous season behind the plate for the Yankees--leading everyone with 16 errors and 51 passed balls. Detroit's Brandon Lowe also had a horrific year at 2B--leading all defenders everywhere with 30 errors.

I can’t believe how much better the Giants were after the sell off. Maybe it was schedule based but I guess the playoffs were possible. Oh well
