What are people's thoughts on injuries with two-way players? Please vote on the poll.
- No special restrictions If they're active in real life, no restrictions in the simulation
- Restricted if not able to perform If they aren't able to pitch in real life, they shouldn't be allowed to pitch in the simulation
For example, when Ohtani was out with Tommy John surgery but active in MLB as a hitter, how should a player be utilized in the simulation: If he's active in real life, should there be no special restriction and be able to be used however the GM would like in the simulation? Or should he be prevented from being used as a pitcher in the simulation if he's not able to perform as a pitcher in real life.

no special restrictions.dont see anywhere to vote .. It may not be very visible on some computers, but you should have the ability to click next to either option to vote. It may only look like a space to the left of the options, but it's a very faint box.

Ohtani’s injury still bugs me.

Thank you. Amazing what old age does to eyesight. Anyway, Ohtani is either on the disabled list or he is not. End of story.

Having special rules for Shohei Ohtani seems simple now, but it could become difficult if there are more 2-way players in 10 years. I think it would be more simple to go by the injury report and transactions. If someone is active they can play, and if not then they don't.
The MLB says
I think that our version of this designation should be the DMB pitching stamina rating, and that we shouldn't adjust for real-life usage. In our alternative history, Tommy John can be healed by the swing of a bat ⚾

This vote has reached a majority so the preferred league option is to restrict two-way players if they're injured. For example, when Ohtani had TJ and was unable to pitch (only active as a hitter), he would have been unable to be used as a pitcher in the simulation.
