Whenever we start, I assume our game calendar will follow the MLB calendar, adjusted for the need to catch up. I also assume a player who is eligible under our rules in game 1 of the MLB calendar is also eligible under game 1 of our B1G calendar.
A second issue is MILB players.
If they are on the projection and not injured, they can play in the B1G league ?? If yes, where do we go to find the MILB injured list ??
A final issue. If a player is on the projection file and is drafted then subsequently released during the MLB season, then I assume they are not eligible to play in a B1G league game past the date they were released in MLB ??
Thank you for your help.

Question 1: Yes Question 2: If a player has a projection, is signed by a team, and is not injured or suspended, they are eligible, MLB or MiLB. The MiLB has a link for player injuries/transactions, that I'm sure the commish has, and he'll make the appropriate deactivations and activations in the sim accordingly. Minor league injuries are sometimes difficult to track, and get info on, so this will be a work in progress all season to make sure players ineligible to play aren't playing. Question 3: Correct. Similar to suspension, injuries, retirement, death, etc. They have to be signed to an MLB team, and playing, to be able to play in the B1G. So if they get released, they'll be ineligible to play after that time frame until re-signed.

Thank you for clarifying, Houston. 1. Yes, there will be a weekly database that is set with the injuries for that simulation week. 2. If a player has a projection and is active with a MLB franchise, they can play in the simulation. If you want to individually look up your own players, you can always search them on MiLB.com and the transactions are at the bottom of the page. Just like with the majors, the minors have transactions pages that we'll cross-check for injuries--for example, www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?t=l_trn&lid=112. Minor league injuries by nature are harder to track though. 3. If you're asking about them being released by their MLB team but they're still on a B1G team, they would be ineligible in the simulation until they are again active with a new MLB franchise (whether they're in the majors or minors). The player would still be on the B1G franchise's roster until the GM releases him--so effectively they'd be a dead roster spot until they can be used again.
