Do we have anyone willing to bid on behalf of the following vacant/dormant franchises? We would only want to use 1-year deals and have the GMs bidding on behalf of them be in a different league. Tampa Bay is a former LWNN GM that I hope will be back, but I would be willing to bid on their behalf to utilize their space to improve their team. In my opinion, these 4 franchises are the highest priority with the most cap room this offseason.
ARI - 23
HOU (formerly BOS) - 40
PIT (formerly SF) - 25
TB - 38
Thoughts?

Given that the Cubs have already established their roster and are operating with limited funds, I would be happy to offer my assistance by placing bids for the Astros. This would at least ensure that Oakland remains honest in their dealings.

It's really just a matter of trying to improve the vacant franchises and avoid letting tons of available cap space go to waste--hopefully trying to improve the competitive balance. I'm more than happy to let someone else bid for the Rays. Is anyone else interested in helping? I want to prioritize those teams with the most money that could be used to improve the team this year with 1-year deals.

The Blue Jays and Nationals are the next out at 19.3 million. If you and the Cubs are in, then we would be able to cover the AL teams. Oakland, would you be in to bid on behalf of one of the NL teams? We have one in each NL division. We still don't have anyone else willing to step up and bid on behalf of vacants? I really don't want to have to bid for multiple teams. The franchises highest on the priority list are: ARI - [23]; BAL - [16.5]; PIT - [25]; WSH - [19.3].
