I didn't realize until I went to double-check that we didn't already officially vote on the post-season structure. In the Rulebook, it's phrased that we use the same post-season structure as MLB, but the language wasn't updated with the 3 wild cards and 3 division winners. Was everyone already under that same assumption or do we need to vote on it to make it official? My personal opinion is that it makes sense to mirror the whole MLB structure, and I know it would also be a nightmare creating a different playoff schedule than what MLB already provides. Thoughts? B. ScheduleThe MLB regular season schedule is used every year. In the event of another shortened MLB season, B1G League Baseball would still utilize/generate a 162-game schedule. Post-season structure would also be the same as MLB with 2 wild cards and 3 division winners in each league. Home-field advantage in the World Series would be determined by the team with the best winning percentage. There will be a weekly database with a deadline for GMs to submit manager profiles and regular simulations to keep pace with the real-life schedule. NetPlay would not be required, but it would be allowed (when two GMs agree to do so) as long as it would not interrupt the simulation schedule.

I don't know about the rest of the league but I was under the assumption we were following the MLB format of 3 wild cards and 3 division winners.

We will be mirroring the MLB playoff format. Due to the uncertainty, I'm extending the Trade Deadline an extra week to October 15th.
