We will open the Sign Players section of the forum at 8 PM Central (6 PM Pacific/9 PM Eastern) on July 21st.
Regardless of whether the player has a projection or not, a team must wait 30 minutes after signing a player before they can sign another player.
During the season, there will be a Disabled List Reserve where teams gain an additional slot for every current injury to a player in the simulation, but teams can only gain a maximum of 5 additional slots. Depending on how many players you have injured, you can sign that many new players--though if you have 6 or more injured, 5 would be your max. If a player does not have a projection in the simulation, teams will not gain an additional slot while they’re injured. Teams do not gain an additional slot for a player who is inactive because they're not with a MLB franchise.
The newly signed player is not required to have a projection, but the DL Reserve is intended to help teams maintain a 26-man active roster when besieged by injuries. I'll try to have a Week 1 injuries list by later tonight.
B1G Salaries: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1d6kWMWWNBmVKd0sCD-SRbUiK7Pvz-KI21CBxJ9YbbhQ
Over the Roster Limit:
TEX -- [1]
PHI -- [1]
STL -- [1]
MIL -- [1]
On the B1G Salaries Sheet, an Injuries tab has been created near the end. This is not final for Week 1 because I also need to scour the minor leagues, but hopefully this helps give people more of an idea of how many extra roster spaces they'll have to start the season.
