9th Round

A can use one of their [ML] wildcards to forgo the salary/contract in a particular round if they choose to select a player that has not gained real-life rookie eligibility in MLB--as of the end of 2020, the player would have to have fewer than 130 MLB ABs or 50 MLB IP in their career. If a team has used up all of their [ML] wildcards, they can still select a player who does not meet MLB rookie eligibility requirements at the contract for the draft slot.

A team will have up to 24 hours to make their selection when their pick comes up before they are then skipped. A skipped team can post their make-up selection at any time after being skipped, but it will be at the same slot value. The contract for all draft slots in the 9th Round is [1/A1/A2/A3].
